DIY Cabbage Face Mask – Hydration Boost for Your Skin

Lately, my skin has been feeling a little dull (thanks, winter air!), so I decided to experiment with a homemade cabbage face mask. Cabbage is packed with antioxidants and vitamins that help soothe, hydrate, and brighten your skin.

Here’s my quick and easy recipe:


Ingredients:

3-4 fresh cabbage leaves
2 tablespoons plain yogurt
1 tablespoon honey


Instructions:

Blend the cabbage leaves with a splash of water until smooth.
Mix in the yogurt and honey until well combined.
Apply the mask evenly to your face and let it sit for 15 minutes.
Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry.


I was honestly shocked at how refreshed my skin felt afterward! Plus, knowing it’s all-natural makes me feel even better about it.

Now, let’s talk about the leftover cabbage.

No food waste here! I took the remaining leaves and turned them into a quick stir-fry that took less than 15 minutes to make.


Quick Garlic Cabbage Stir-Fry Recipe

½ head of Chinese cabbage, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)


Heat a pan with sesame oil, toss in the garlic, and let it sizzle for a few seconds.

Add the cabbage, soy sauce, and chili flakes, then stir-fry for about 5 minutes.

Boom—done! A delicious, nutritious side dish with zero waste.
